Welcome 1st Grade Scientists!
In our Webquest, you will go over vocabulary and facts, complete different tasks and participate in activities to learn more about Weather and Seasons.
Outline of different pages and tasks:
1. HOME: (this page) Introduction of Webquest, outline of pages, description of tasks, and expectations.
2. SEASONS: Observing changes in the seasons.
3. TEMPERATURE: Measure temperature by using a thermometer.
4. THE SUN: Record how the Sun moves during the day.
5. DAY AND NIGHT: Describe the 24 day/night cycle.
6. FINAL: Complete the Closing Task and pick one of the activities.
The tasks involve watching video clips, adding to our science journals, using the Internet, playing games, recording new data, reading poems, completing worksheets and collaborating on all the subjects in the final project.
Please remember to follow all of the directions, read the labels, and ask questions if you need help.
